What a tragedy! I can still remember Ron's message on our answering machine when we returned home from church on Ash Wednesday 2003. I could not believe a terrorist had affected the life of someone I knew of. Nothing can change what happened and all that I can offer are words of comfort and scripture. I believe in my heart that God will make something good come from this tragedy. That does not make her family or friends miss her any less. Tal, the happy teenager with the smile, would want us to find the good in this. We must help each other. We must not take relationships for granted for life is too short. We must make the most of the time we spend with loved ones. May the Lord bless you and keep you; Numbers 6:24-27.

Although I never met Tal, she has come to life in the pictures and videos that her family has shown me. I'm glad that I was able to get to know a little about Tal through the memories her father shared with me. I can't imagine the pain and anguish that her parents are feeling. I can only pray that in time God would grant peace to the family Tal has left behind.
